In 2015 Fernando ventured into abstract handprinted paper cutouts veering from his figurative work which has led to many exhibitions throughout the years.  Encouraged by his success,  Fernando pushes forward with new ideas and designs in his upcoming exhibition Looking Back Cutting Forward.  Fernando brings a playfulness in colorful design and a joyous sense of nostalgia influenced by the graphic designs and colors from the Midcentury modern period.
